Outlander

I was there... at the launch of Outlander. I intentionally did not carry my camera and had to be content with pics from my cell phone. Only during the launch, did I realise what I really missed !!! Three beauties, waiting to be photographed and taken for a ride...
The outlander apart from its most competetive specs in the segment, comes in 7 colours. However, the red one is the most eye catchy. Mr. Safari, remember what I said about the red :)
The MD of Hindustan Motors was also there... gleaming with pride. I was thinking, what sort of a guy, who cant sell a product thats successful across the world !!! I wish I could work with Mitsu India and help them sell cars :)

This trip was totally unexpected and came out of the blue. Infact got my tickets within the last 24 hrs. More on this in the coming days... If you are still curious about this place, ping me :)

The Hunt for the Blood Orchid

And so our hunt began. The terrain was the same ,the route that I passed by last week but Siva having to cross some tough terrain on his Classic.

But as we reached there, the terrain was getting more and more difficult.  It was not going to be easy to get the orchid.
It took us a tough 3 hrs to climb to the top while having to cross innumerable streams on the way.

Finally, we had to stop at this point. Not having the heart to get rid of this guy, we got back empty handed.

Am back to my routine these days. Doing what I like and liking what I do :)

All that fly...

For everyone who stays in and around Chennai, the Satish Dhawan Space center is a place worth going. This is the place that houses the ISRO. Close by ,is a lake, that attracts migratory birds. The road that leads to this place is scenic. Once it started raining, the road was a pleasure to drive. For now, let the pictures do the talking.
