The Land of Five Rivers - Part III / III
My last stop was at the Attari - Wagah Border. Every day, there is a flag hoisting and flag lowering ceremony across the international border
A view of the Pakistani Audience...
...and the Indian side
The Flag Lowering that happens just before sunset ...
.. and the gates are closed at the end of the day.
The road to Attari is one of the oldest and longest roads in S. Asia Its called the Grand Trunk Road and runs from Bangladesh to India and finally to Pakistan.
