Some pics from the South India Rally last weekend at Chennai. One of the SS was at a dirt track created right next to the race track at Chennai.




The Cedias ruled the Group N category. A rally is probably the only place where so many Cedias can be spotted. More details on the rally here

From the palace , we went to a National Park near by to see some wildlife.



Though we could not make it on any safaris, we did manage to spot a few elephants and some good scenic roads

A friend called us to visit his place over the weekend. Some pictures from this 'palace'. The entire place was so spectacular. Above : An auditorium inside

After spending some time here, we got to experience some wildlife. We went to a national park close by and had some great spotting.

India had a bad start in the World Cup Finals. Once they lost the openers, I packed my bags and went to shoot some pics. Couple of these pics are 30 sec exposed

Yawn !!!

There was a Pay and Practice session at the race track last weekend. The turn out was huge. There were about 20+ cars on the track . With a lot of first timers, it was fun to watch few of them go off the track, or spinning off half way.

Something I realised, that these Panning shots were starting to bore me.

Rock On !

After a while, it was offroading time again. In attendance were 5-540s,1-3B, 1-500D and a MG410w. It was a long drive all the way to kelambakkam, which is about 25-30 kms from Chennai. After clearing a couple of obstacles, we moved further inside, where we saw this water catchment . None of us imagined a place like this in the middle of no where.

Vijay drove around Arka's jeep for a bit and seemed to love every moment of it.
This obstacle seemed to scare Karthik a bit. Look at him waving his hand out
